Need a place to stay in Iquitos, Peru?
The Green Track Hostel was originally established so that our Tapiche Reserve visitors had somewhere to stay in Iquitos before and after their journey into the jungle. It grew into a fully functioning hostel that welcomes travelers from all over the world and also serves as the booking and administrative office for the Tapiche Reserve.
Located in a residential area, the hostel is walking distance to the main tourist attractions of Iquitos yet removed enough to avoid the noise and chaos of the main square. Our location also gives our guests more options for economical local restaurants and services compared to the central tourist area.
Our hostel offers free wi-fi throughout the building, rooms with fans or air conditioning, dorms with shared bath facilities or private rooms with ensuite bath, a third floor terrace overlooking Iquitos, a TV lounge with book exchange, and a kitchen area for cold food prep and storage. Our guests enjoy complimentary Brazilian-style breakfast (pictured above) with 3-4 types of fresh jungle fruits according to season, a boiled egg, fresh bread and tea and coffee. We can help you organize airport pick-up and give you truthful tourist information to get you oriented in Iquitos.
We're sorry, but we cannot accommodate infants and small children in the hostel.
*Please note: StarPeru flight 3115 has a stopover in Tarapoto and is often delayed and difficult to track, so we cannot arrange airport pick-up for this flight.*

We look forward to being your home in the jungle!
